McEnroe Organic Farm
McEnroe Organic Farm exists to demonstrate the strength of climate resilient farming by reducing food waste through composting, providing wholesome, flavorful produce and meats, and educating the community. Originally a dairy farm known as the Ray-Barb Farm, McEnroe Organic Farm was established in 1987 through a partnership by the McEnroe and Durst families. In 2007, the farm became a non-profit organization. Our farm has been NOFA-certified organic for over 25 years, with all of our reciprocal farm ecosystem passing through the compost operation.
All organic waste created by crop cultivation, livestock, and the farm is recycled through our state-of-the-art compost facility. McEnroe also composts material from our household food waste drop-off site and a constellation of sources in the Northeast region and New York City. McEnroe Organic Farm is devoted to demonstrating the strength and benefits of our climate resilient farming model.
